Honda e - It couldn't be shorter

Parents usually put a lot of effort into finding a suitable name for their child. Car manufacturers also need to think carefully about what they want to call their vehicles. You can also easily find the name, as Honda does with its small Stromer.

Honda's small, previously nameless, purely battery-powered city car goes by the name "e", the company has announced. The Honda e, which will make its series debut at the IAA and was already to be seen in a near-series version at the Geneva Motor Show in spring, is 3,92 meters long. The range of the four-door is 200 kilometers. It is driven by two electric motors that direct their power to the rear axle. Honda has not yet given any information on performance, battery size or price. The small Stadtstromer will hit the market in early 2020.

From 2025, Honda will only offer electrified new cars in Europe, including hybrid models in addition to purely battery-electric vehicles. The new generation of jazz, which celebrates its premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show in autumn, will, like the compact SUV CR-V, have a drive combination of a petrol engine and an electric motor.
