Honda HR-V

Honda saves customers of the new HR-V you are spoiled for choice when it comes to the drive. This is not a disadvantage, at least not when it comes to efficiency.

The third generation of the Honda HR-V is in the starting blocks. She comes to Europe at the end of the year. As with the small car Jazz and the SUV CR-V, there is only one drive variant for the HR-V. The hybrid called e: HEV consists of a 1,5-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors. The system output is 96 kW / 131 PS and 253 Nm. During the journey, the petrol engine acts as a power generator for the electric motor on the front axle for most of the time. The combustion engine only functions as a direct drive when the load is high, for example on the motorway. Honda gives the average consumption (WLTP) at 5,4 liters, the CO2 emissions at 122 g / km. The Japanese completed the standard sprint in 10.6 seconds.

The Honda HR-V comes with a modern interior

The design of the 4,29 meter long HR-V is much more mature and self-confident than before. The hallmarks are a steep grille in body color, more ground clearance, a sloping, slightly coupé-like rear window and the significantly more straightforward body compared to its predecessor. Inside, the Honda appears decidedly modern and very tidy. Honda also promises an airy feeling of space with increased legroom compared to its predecessor and a higher seating position. The so-called “Magic Seats” with their fold-up seats in the rear were adopted.
