iNext caught on the Nordschleife!

iNext as i5 with a range of up to 750 km?

It will be BMW's third electric car and it will be born as an SUV. The study and the test carriers, which are still referred to as iNext, are to go into series production from 2021 and then come onto the market as the i5. Now our Erlkönig photographer has caught a prototype during test drives on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

BMW is reinventing itself and putting together a whole future kit for the challenges of changing mobility, which is called iNext. The concept had its world premiere in October 2018 at the Paris Motor Show. But what was still there at the trade fair yesterday as the iNext should be at the dealership tomorrow: the production model of the iNext should hit the streets in 2021, then probably as the BMW i5 and thus as the third model of the BMW i series. BMW boss Harald Krüger already showed the first sketch of the BMW iNext during the 2018 Annual General Meeting.
