A rear-view camera system for retrofitting promises to make maneuvering the Ford panel van easier.
Ford offers a retrofittable interior mirror screen for its commercial vehicles. The system displays the camera image from the reversing camera and should offer a field of view that is twice as large as conventional rearview mirrors. The display has automatic brightness detection and adapts to the lighting conditions. The retrofit solution is available for the panel van variants of the Transit Custom from model year 2012 and for the large Transporter from model year 2014. Prices start at 683 euros including VAT.
