Koenigsegg Jesko - the fastest vehicle in the world

The Koenigsegg Jesko - faster, stronger and more expensive

Yesterday we presented you with one of the most expensive automotive works of art of all time. Today we show you what is probably the fastest vehicle in the world, the new Koenigsegg Jesko. Christian von Koenigsegg named his new hypercar in honor of his father, Jesko von Koenigsegg.

The “Jesko” is one of the highlights in Geneva. Koenigsegg Ragnarok became Koenigsegg Jesko, but the car remains mystical despite everything. We remember that the planned "Ragnarok" was supposed to be a cheap entry-level model from Koenigsegg. Now exactly the opposite of that is on the stand of the Swedish super sports car manufacturer in Geneva. The Jesko will be faster, stronger and more expensive than any other Koenigsegg before it.

1.600 hp are enough for a top speed of 482 km/h

[dropcap size=big]482[/dropcap]Its twin-turbocharged 5,0 liter V8 engine pumps asphalt-melting 1.500 Nm at 5.100 crankshaft revolutions to the drive wheels. With its 1.600 hp, the Jesko is said to reach the unbelievable speed of 482 kilometers per hour.

With a normal Super 95 octane mixture, the Jesko still delivers 1.280 hp.

The E85 mixture should be refueled for this. It would be the fastest road-legal vehicle in the world to date. The Jesko has a nine-speed gearbox and a dual-clutch transmission. It is an all-wheel drive rear-wheel drive.

The large rear wing catches the eye. So-called flaps are attached to it. These adapt to the respective speed. The contact pressure increases according to the respective speed.

The Koenigsegg Jesko produces 1.500 kilograms of contact pressure

[dropcap size=big]1.400[/dropcap]Speaking of contact pressure, at 250 km/h this is 800 kilograms, at 275 km/h even more than a ton! During the first test drives over 350 km/h, contact pressure of an unbelievable 1.400 kilos was determined. The Swedish hypercar literally has to stick to the asphalt.
