Lamborghini Huracan EVO - New design and improved aerodynamics

A new Lamborghini Huracán awaits us. Automobili Lamborghini introduces us to the Lamborghini Huracan EVO, a next-generation supercar. This builds on the performance and technology of the Lamborghini Huracán Performante.

The new Huracán EVO inherits the exceptional capabilities of the Lamborghini Huracán Performante. It also uses state-of-the-art driving dynamics control. “The Huracán EVO is evolution: a leap in development that completely redefines the parameters of this vehicle segment that have applied to date. It is extremely easy to drive. In terms of response, sensory perception and agility, it offers an unprecedented driving experience in every situation.", said Stefano Domenicali, Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Lamborghini Huracan EVO – Una Grande Emotion

[dropcap size=big]640[/dropcap]The new Huracán EVO is equipped with the 5,2-liter V10 naturally aspirated engine from the Lamborghini Huracán Performant. It delivers 640 hp (470 kW) at 8.000 rpm and a torque of 600 Nm at 6.500 rpm. With a dry weight of 1.422 kg, the Huracán EVO achieves a power-to-weight ratio of 2,22 kg/hp.

The Taurus accelerates from 2,9 to 0 km/h in 100 seconds and from 9,0 to 0 km/h in 200 seconds. Its top speed is 325 km/h.

Various assistance systems support the driver

The Huracán EVO features the new Lamborghini rear-wheel steering and a torque vectoring system on all four wheels. The heart of the vehicle is the new integrated driving dynamics system Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI).

The Lamborghini Piattaforma Inerziale (LPI), a comprehensive system of acceleration sensors and gyroscopes in the vehicle's center of gravity, is used in the optimized version 2.0.

The dynamic steering Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS), which ensures better response when cornering with minimal steering angles at the same time, is now coupled with the rear-wheel steering. In the most demanding conditions, it is responsible for low-speed agility and maximum stability in fast corners.

The unique combination of all these systems is controlled by the LDVI to create an extremely agile and responsive vehicle with an unrivaled level of control. Thanks to real-time data processing, the Huracán EVO recognizes the driver's intentions based on the operation of the steering wheel, brake and accelerator pedals, the gear engaged and the driving modes selected via the ANIMA selector: STRADA, SPORT or CORSA.

In STRADA mode, the Huracán EVO is designed for agility and driving pleasure. In SPORT mode, it shows its playful, intuitive and extremely exciting side. CORSA mode makes the Huracán EVO precise, responsive and stimulating, making it ideal for all types of circuits.

EVO design – aerodynamics as far as the eye can see

A new front bumper gives the vehicle a deep, confident look. The front splitter with integrated wing ensures aerodynamic efficiency. Widened air intakes feature the Y-shape typical of Lamborghini design DNA.

The side profile of the Huracán EVO is extremely dynamic and impresses with the characteristic Lamborghini hexagon design on the window line, the design of the new rims and around the new side air intakes.

[dropcap size=big]EVO[/dropcap]The rear in particular shows the dynamics and power of the Huracán EVO. As with the racing version, the Huracan Super Trofeo, the rear of the EVO is wide, open and unfaired. The tailpipes of the new sports exhaust system are mounted high up in the vehicle's rear bumper. A spoiler integrated at the upper end of the rear ensures improved aerodynamic behavior of the vehicle.

Even the underbody was redesigned. As a result, total downforce and aerodynamic efficiency is five times greater than the first-generation Huracán.

Connectivity and infotainent systems

An 8,4-inch HMI touchscreen in the center console allows easy control of connectivity functions. In addition to controlling various vehicle functions such as seats, air conditioning and real-time status of the LDVI system, it also gives the vehicle occupants access to all infotainment systems. A multimedia system includes connected navigation and entertainment such as web radio and video player. The intuitive user interface supports commands via voice control and connects the driver with the Siri assistant.

In addition, an optional dual-camera telemetry system can be accessed via the touchscreen, enabling professional recording and analysis of telemetry data. An integrated hard drive is also available.

Colors, interior and Lamborghini ad personam

The new Lamborghini Huracán EVO will be presented in Arancio Xanto, a new four-layer paint from Lamborghini. The design is complemented by new Aesir 20″ rims specially designed for the EVO.

The interior of the bull from Sant'Agata Bolognese is also luxurious. It comes with new EVO equipment elements made of Alcantara and leather with details in Arancio Dryope (orange). The new sporty, elegant interior also offers numerous two-tone combinations as well as an extremely sporty Alcantara option.
