Mercedes-Benz world and European premieres at the Geneva Motor Show
Mercedes-Benz is taking a big step into the future with the new E-Class, which has its first appearance in Europe in Geneva. The new E-Class is considered the most intelligent business sedan in the world. Numerous technical innovations enable comfortable and safe driving at levels not previously achieved, as well as new dimensions in driver relief. With the DRIVE PILOT, Mercedes-Benz is taking the next step on the way to autonomous driving. It can not only automatically maintain the correct distance from vehicles in front on motorways and country roads, but can also follow them for the first time at speeds of up to 210 km / h.
Of course, the new C-Class Cabriolet will also play a major role at the Mercedes-Benz stand. Both the standard and the AMG variant of the four-seater convertible are shown. The Mercedes-AMG C 43 Coupé will also be presented for the first time. This adds another variant to the C-Class family.
Just in time for the 20th anniversary, the model among the compact roadsters has been given a new name and, as an SLC, will appear in April 2016 in a technically and optically significantly optimized manner. The name change refers to the close relationship with the C-Class. Both the sporty top model Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 and the entry-level version SLC 180 are new.
