The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the highlight of this year's International Motor Show in Frankfurt am Main, is presented at the "Dubai International Motor Show" in a fascinating gold finish. The satin-matt color called "AMG Desert Gold" gives the new super sports car an extraordinary aura. The special model G 55 AMG KOMPRESSOR “Edition 79” is also celebrating its premiere in Dubai. The Dubai International Motor Show is considered the most important motor show in the Middle East and takes place every two years.
Matt gold on the aluminum body and effective effects in high-gloss black – this extraordinary color combination ensures a high level of attraction. With its satin-matt surface, "AMG Desert Gold" reinforces the gullwing's sporty character. All trim and add-on parts that shine in chrome or silver shadow on the standard SLS AMG have been given a deep black paint finish by the AMG designers. Whether it's the Mercedes star along with the decorative strip on the transverse fin at the front, the fins on the bonnet and on the sides of the vehicle, the fuel filler cap or all the nameplates: glossy black is used everywhere and provides an attractive contrast to the silky matt shimmering gold paint. The deep black painted AMG light-alloy wheels measuring 9,5 x 19 inches at the front and 11,0 x 20 inches at the rear are adorned with a golden ring on the rim flange.
International Motor Show, but with the appropriate customer response, the special gold paint could be offered as an individual option from the AMG PERFORMANCE STUDIO. Two fascinating matt paint finishes are already available for the SLS AMG: "AMG Monza gray magno" and "designo magno alanit gray". The highlight is the unique "AMG alubeam silver", in which the paint shines like liquid metal. SLS AMG customers can currently choose between nine attractive colors.
The interior of the special SLS AMG is consistently sporty black: the AMG sports bucket seats match the center console made of real carbon and other carbon interior components. Opening the bonnet reveals the 420 kW (571 hp) AMG 6,3-liter V8 engine, which is effectively framed by the high-quality carbon fiber engine compartment cover.
