Naran Hyper Coupe - sporty travel with more than 1.000 horses under the hood
Apparently, the trend continues to grow with more than 1000 hp for four people traveling long distances. Naran Automotive also seems to be following the trend. The British hypercar startup introduces us to its new Naran Hyper Coupe, a 1048 hp four-seater.
In the end, there will only be 49 personalities who will be able to enjoy the super sporty Gran Turismo. Naran sees wealthy car collectors as the target group. One competitor is certainly Koenigsegg with the 2+2 seater Koenigsegg Gemera. However, this delivers 1.700 hp, which it generates from a combustion engine and three electric motors.
Aerodynamic package to lose weight
The silhouette of the Naran looks quite sporty. Large air intakes, narrow lights and wide flanks. In addition, a large diffuser and an overpowering rear wing characterize the striking appearance. At the rear, next to the wing, the vertically arranged tailpipes catch the eye, extraordinary.
The front covers a mighty shark's mouth which literally eats up the air for the 5,0-liter twin-turbo V8. Incidentally, the drive comes from Germany from Racing Dynamics. The Naran Hyper Coupé is convertible. If you want to drive home from the race track, you simply remove the rear wing. Speaking of the race track, the underbody is flat and closed. This generates maximum downforce.
Naran Hyper Coupe is made of lightweight materials
[dropcap size=big]2,3[/dropcap]It's easy to have the engine with the body. It catapults the chassis and driver to 2,3 km/h in just 100 seconds. The British specify the top speed as 370 km/h. Reason for the value is the use of lightweight materials such as carbon fiber. For drivers who want to be sporty on the racetrack, there is the option of switching from all-wheel drive to pure rear-wheel drive.
You come to a standstill via 390 mm ceramic brake discs. These were specially developed for 24-hour races. A special cooling system from the GT3 control element ensures the optimal supply of fresh air to the unit and the braking system.
