The McLaren Artura V6 Hybrid represents a milestone for the British sports car maker. Building on the know-how in the field of electrification, the McLaren P2012TM hybrid hypercar first presented in 1 and the one recently launched Hyper GT Speedtail, is the Artura McLaren's first high-performance hybrid production supercar.

The Artura is to be powered by a compact V6 biturbo engine and an electric motor. The performance should correspond to that of a V8 engine. McLaren countered the additional weight of the hybrid system by using weight-saving components.
From the external appearance of the teaser, the Artura comes very close to the McLaren 570S. Designed at the McLaren Composites Technology Center in Woking, the Artura is the first vehicle based on the new platform architecture optimized for electrification.
