It's still rumors that have reached Britain's Car Magazine, but there seems to be a grain of truth in it. Because as it stands, plans Rolls-Royce a roadster with a V16 engine. The technicians from Rolls-Royce in Goodwood want to compete with competitors such as Bugatti and Bentley for the top position with a 16-cylinder engine with a displacement of 9,0 liters.
As is well known, the Rolls-Royce Phantom uses a 6,75 liter V12 engine with 460 hp. Even here, the use of the large-volume V16 engine would be possible. On the other hand, it would also be conceivable that the British automobile manufacturer is working on a new flagship in roadster format, which would have the large-volume engine with up to 700 hp implanted.
