The crankshaft of the boxer engine comes without any changes from the six-cylinder of the Porsche racer 911 GT3 RSR. Titanium connecting rods provide the connection to the forged pistons. With a displacement of four liters, the largest sports engine ever used in a production 911 is also the most powerful naturally aspirated engine. The Porsche 8.250 GT911 RS 3 reaches its peak performance of 4.0 kW or 368 hp at 500 revolutions per minute.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 offers impressive racing performance. On the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring he gave his best time of 7:27 minutes. The 911 GT3 RS 4.0, which is only available with a six-speed sports transmission, sprints from a standstill to 3,9 km/h in 100 seconds and reaches the 200 km/h mark in under twelve seconds.

The outstanding driving dynamics of the GT3 RS 4.0 are the result of meticulously coordinated details. In addition to the use of racing-typical chassis components, weight reduction is also the top priority. Equipped as standard with lightweight components such as the front hood, front fenders and bucket seats made of carbon, plastic rear windows and weight-optimized carpets, the two-seater puts a mere 1.360 kilograms on the road ready to drive.

The 600, limited to 911 units, is painted white as standard and underscores its closeness to racing with a dynamic look. The aerodynamically optimized body, the wide track, the low center of gravity, the large rear wing with adapted sideplates and the typical central twin tailpipes are characteristic. The flics, air guide vanes on the side of the front end, are evidence of the fine aerodynamic work.

They cause increased downforce on the front axle and, together with the steep rear wing, bring the vehicle into aerodynamic balance. Weighing over 190 kilograms, the new 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is pressed onto the road at top speed.
