At the end of the old football year, there is now a new bus for the DFB men's team. The national team will start the latest version of the MercedesFlagship Travego M. The cruising decker measures 13 meters in length and has at least the most luxurious production version 46 seats. It is not known whether the footballer version differs from this. Unique is definitely the exterior design with black body, DFB logo and the words "The Crew".
The drive is powered by a V8 diesel with 350 kW / 476 horsepower from almost 16 liters. The maximum power of the 2.100 Nm engine is balanced via an automated eight-speed manual transmission to the double-tired rear axle. Incidentally, the eight-cylinder is an optional extra; as standard, the Travego is powered by a six-cylinder in-line engine with 315 kW / 428 PS.
