The hits and TV series of the 80 years are still present. A well-known vehicle of an action series from this period was now the inspiration for a modern interpretation of the taste of that time.
On the occasion of the German premiere of the Opel Zafira Life during the traditional Opel meeting in Oschersleben, the Russelsheim present a special conversion of their new family van. The concept car "O Team Zafira Life" makes optical references to the GMC-Van of the legendary 80er cult series "The A-Team" and uses additional parts of the tuning scene. These include wide tires, front bars, enlarged side skirts, a tailpipe in OPC design and a large rear wing. Of course, the lower body, air suspension and 20-inch large Alus are also missing. In the color scheme, the tuned vehicle differs from the original driven by Mr. T alias BA Baracus. It is not like the American model subtly painted black and provided with red trim, but quoted with a rather eye-catching livery in dark blue and white as well as in neon-yellow stripes the color of the concept study Opel GT.
For the appropriate sound of the concept vehicle provides a sound module that mimics the pitch of a V8 gasoline engine, so under the bonnet used to come coming four-cylinder diesel camouflaged. In the interior, there are sports seats for the driver and front passenger from the Insignia GSi, while the passengers in the second and third rows take their seats on revolving leather seats. The Zafira Life serves as a six-seater with a medium wheelbase as the basis for the TÜV-approved and thus legal tuning modifications. This comes to a length of 4,96 meters. Propulsion is provided by an 2,0-liter diesel with 130 kW / 177 PS. By the way: Without modifications, this specification of the vehicle costs from 44.160 Euro.
