Today we would like to introduce you to a website that is fully dedicated to the Swedish supercar brand Koenigsegg Automotive. The website was launched by Matt Sexton in April 2009. The operator himself writes about his project:

"The official website of the original Unofficial Koenigsegg Registry".

Matt Sexton has dedicated his life to the Swedish super sports car manufacturer from Ängelholm. He reveals himself to be an absolute Koenigsegg fan with petrol running through his veins. With own reports, eg about the Koenigsegg Agera RS 0-400-0 World Record and also insider knowledge about the Koenigsegg models, he has discovered a niche for himself. He is also supported by experts who research vehicles and specialize in individual models.

Koenigsegg Registry – overview of all vehicles

In addition to current news about the Superportlers, the website has the so-called "master list". A complete list of all Koenigseggs produced to date, including the prototypes, sorted by year of manufacture. Each vehicle is listed with its type, color and chassis number. Except for a few small gaps, many vehicles disappear into secret collections, number 13 was left out. Is Christian von Koenigsegg superstitious?

The secrets of the Koenigsegg VIN

A section of his website helps decode the Koenigsegg VIN. In some cases, the VIN of a Koenigsegg says more than a normal chassis number. Among other things, it can provide information that the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita in Switzerland was originally a South African RHD car. With detective flair and a lot of meticulousness, Matt explains the secrets of the vehicle identification number of the super sports car manufacturer.
