Price increase also for ADAC customers

Traction current is becoming more expensive. With EnBW, one of the market leaders has now increased prices, in some cases significantly.

The energy supplier EnBW is increasing the prices for traction current. On average, the kilowatt hour for the Swabian company, which is one of the market leaders in Germany, is almost 8 cents more expensive. In the AC standard tariff without a basic fee, it now costs 48 cents instead of the previous 39 cents, on the DC charger customers pay 55 cents instead of 49 cents. The cheapest kWh tariffs (from 36 cents / AC) are available in the multi-charger tariff, the basic fee of which is increased by 1 euro to 6 euros.

The customers connected to the ADAC charging tariff will pay significantly more in the future, where costs have risen by up to 13 cents. The price ranges from 38 cents (AC, EnBW pillar) to 52 cents (DC, third-party operators). So far, a maximum of 39 cents was due. The prices of the ultra-fast chargers from Ionity remain unchanged, at 79 cents per kWh in every tariff. EnBW justifies the step with the high costs for the massive expansion of the charging infrastructure, but sees itself as being positioned in the middle of the price range in the overall market.
