It is a great honor for us to present the new McLaren GT to you today. A grand tourer paired with the performance of a super sports car. From now on, McLaren Automotive wants to support its customers with the right vehicle, even on long journeys. With comfort and plenty of space for luggage, the new McLaren GT should bring its passengers from A to B quickly, elegantly and powerfully with the typical British spirit.
The new McLaren GT offers space for 570 liters of luggage
The new family member has a carbon fiber structure and aluminum body parts. They provide strength and rigidity and make it light. The 620 hp 4,0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine accelerates the GT to 3,2 km/h in just 100 seconds. It sprints from 9,0 to 0 km/h in just 200 seconds. Its top speed is 326 km/h.
At 420 liters, the luggage compartment is quite generous for a super sports car. It is located below the fully glazed tailgate. A further 150 liters in the front area increase the luggage volume to an impressive 570 liters. Everything in the interior is designed for comfort on longer journeys. High-quality materials and long-distance seats covered with nappa leather ensure the necessary travel comfort on longer journeys.

As befits a grand tourer, ambience refinement has been a priority for the new McLaren GT from the outset. He shares the McLaren Speedtail DNA, with a beautiful, lightweight body and innovative, luxurious, high-quality materials.
The width and stance of the new McLaren GT are emphasized at the front by the characteristic "Hammerhead Line". This runs horizontally across the nose and draws the eye to the sides of the vehicle. At the rear of the GT, an integrated fixed rear wing, large diffuser and generous tailpipes are reminders that this is a grand tourer with supercar performance.
Special engine mounts that are only half as stiff as those of the McLaren 600LT, help to minimize body noise. Low frequency noise coming from the carbon fiber structure is reduced. In comfort mode, the new McLaren GT is the most refined McLaren ever.
Price and delivery time of the McLaren GT
The new new GT can now be ordered worldwide. It is scheduled to be delivered to customers at the end of 2019 at prices starting at 198.000 euros.
