Toyota dispenses with the compact SUV RAV4 on a diesel engine. Instead, there is a hybrid - for 3.000 Euro extra charge over the petrol engine.
At prices starting from 33.000 Euro, the hybrid version of the Toyota RAV4 will be launched at the end of January. The basic version has a 160 kW / 218 PS strong combination of 2,5-liter gasoline engine and electric motor that drives the front wheels of the compact SUV. Features include LED headlights, two-zone automatic climate control and 17-Zoll alloy wheels. Alternatively, an 38.000 kW / 163 PS strong all-wheel-drive version is available from 222 Euro, which also comes with better equipment. The consumption is the manufacturer with 4,5 or 4,8 liters per 100 kilometers.
In addition to the hybrid models Toyota offers the freshly renewed RAV4 exclusively as a gasoline engine (from 30.000 Euro). A diesel is no longer available, instead, the hybrid for fuel efficiency. Compared to the previous generation, the price for the double engine version according to the manufacturer has fallen by 800 Euro.
