The Used car prices in Germany, 2017 remained at a high level in January. The Autospout 24 AGPI price index recorded an average of 19.011 euros for the first month of the year. Compared to the previous month (19.020 Euro), the prices decreased only very slightly. Compared to January 2016 (18.055 Euro), however, the average prices are almost 1.000 Euro higher.
In the past month, prices in the segments developed differently. In sports cars, the average was 2,8 percent, in the middle class, 0,2 percent. However, the returns for the luxury class (- 0,1%), the compact class and vans (- 0,4%) as well as SUVs / SUVs (- 0,8%) show. Either way, the time for bargains has not yet come.
