The British luxury brand Bentley is planning the first SUV in its history. This was confirmed by Wolfgang Dürheimer, head of Bentley and Bugatti. The luxury four-wheel drive is to be stronger, more luxurious and larger than any other SUV previously available on the market.
The new Bentley SUV is powered by a twelve-cylinder engine with a displacement of six liters and 575 hp. According to Dürheimer, a diesel engine is also being considered for the SUV.
The successor to the Bugatti Veyron is to come in 2015. In order for the performance to continue to increase, the planned Bugatti Galibier have more than 1001 Veyron hp.
The VW subsidiary Lamborghini is now even openly talking about a new third model. In early 2012, however, the final decision is to be made as to whether it will be a sedan like the Estoque or an SUV.
