Why am I blogging?
Originally out of boredom. This then became a hobby. And when I saw that it was good – it became a passion. And today? Today I am happy about this possibility of “self-publishing”. The Internet gives everyone the chance to publish their own opinions. A fantastic opportunity for all of humanity.
I've been dealing with cars since I was 14 years old and today I can say it is statute-barred: It also started with these driving lessons - at the tender age of 14. I love that feeling of freedom. I love the technology behind it. I love the dynamic. I've probably invested more money in automotive magazines in the past 25 years than in anything else.
For me, driving is always a pleasure and I am more interested in new cars than old ones. Higher faster further. To stand still is to go backwards and so I am fascinated by the development of new technologies and the constant search for perfection in the automotive field. Technology that you can experience and also the competition on the racetrack.
So why am I blogging?
Because it is possible to live on it. From a job that I would previously only have gotten in a large publishing house. But now free from constraints and official channels. Free from double standards and pretended independence. Unfortunately, blogging is far too soft a term for this activity.
In principle I don't “blog”, I just do what I enjoy and luckily there are enough people who want to read exactly that.
