Welcome to the Hypercar Club: AMG!

It is just a photo. No, not even. It's just a silhouette. The hint of a shape and yet a message that, among those with a thick wallet and the desire for the perfect sports car, ensures slight ventricular fibrillation. Mercedes-AMG confirms the construction of a hypercar. So, not a sports car, but a four-wheeler in the category above. There is still only this one drawing. Two-dimensional. Le Mans genes are visible. But it should be Formula 1 technology.

The experience from years of Formula 1 dominance should be wrapped up in an erotic envelope with four rubber rollers. Nothing should stand in the way of performance. We are very excited because there is actually nothing to tell, apart from the confirmation. The hypercar from Affalterbach. It is coming.

AMG against the rest of the world! Hypercar porn from the Swabian province?

Aston Martin RB 001, Bugatti Chiron, McLaren P1 and Ferrari La Ferrari - watch out, the Swabians are coming!

And everything we can now rave about electric motors, hybrid drive, all-wheel steering, active aerodynamics and the number of turbochargers would be pure speculation. 1.000 hp or more? 1 kg per horsepower or less? WE HAVE SIMPLY NO IDEA! Nobody has a clue yet. We only know one thing: when the Mercedes-AMG Hypercar arrives, it will be a statement. That's what the development of the AMG brand has stood for in the last 5-6 years. One success chases the next. Dominance is established. Hardly any sports car brand has repositioned itself as much as the Mercedes-AMG brand in recent years. A C63 is more than a boulevard racer today and the AMG GT S is the rebirth of the classic sports car dream, only much better. And with the AMG GT R and the equally freshly presented roadster models, Affalterbach becomes a nightmare for the Zuffenhausers and you have to do that first.

Who can doubt the AMG hypercar?
