XEV Yoyo

Actually would have Electric car XEV Yoyo should help a crowdfunding campaign to break through. But their goal was not achieved. Nevertheless, the Italians have now dared to launch.

In 2019, the Italian start-up XEV launched a crowdfunding campaign for its Yoyo small electric car, which is partly made in a 3D printer, but the funding target was clearly missed. The small Stromer with a price of only 6.000 euros was a very interesting offer. Although the demand was low, XEV is now offering the Yoyo for sale in Italy and soon in other European countries as well. However, its price has more than doubled compared to the offer from 2019.

PS number remains in two digits

Currently, 2,53 euros are regularly called for the 7 meter short two-seater of the L13.900e lightweight construction class. After deducting the state subsidies in Italy, the price drops to 9.900 euros there. In return, the Mini, which weighs 450 kilograms without a battery, has an electric rear-wheel drive with 7,5 kW / 10 PS continuous and 15 kW / 20 PS peak output. The maximum speed is 80 km / h. The Yoyo's battery consists of up to four removable elements, which together provide a capacity of 10,3 kWh and should therefore allow a range of 150 kilometers.

XEV Yoyo soon also in Germany

The Yoyo is also characterized by a colorful interior with a large touchscreen as a display and control element. The equipment includes air conditioning, ABS, keyless entry and a panoramic roof.

The yoyo is expected to hit the streets in Germany next year. Prices have not yet been named.
