Umbria - here we still find it, the originality, the warm people and the fantastic food from the Umbrian kitchen. But also excellent wines and olive oils, which do not have to hide behind the big names of Tuscany. And of course, last but not least, the natural beauty of Umbria.

Vintage cars and Umbria - That fits together perfectly
On our road trips we discover beautiful mountain villages, special places of the "I Borghi più bella d'Italia", holm oak forests and olive groves, serenity and cittàslow. On our culinary classic car trip through Umbria from June 3rd to 9th, 2018, we will experience, discover, taste and experience the most beautiful regions with our classic car and convertible, absorbing the uniqueness of this landscape.
We are guests for wine tastings with exceptional winegrowers and take a seat in rustic trattorias that adhere to the slow food philosophy. We meander along small streets past the cultivation areas of the famous Orvieto Classico. Or we roll towards the wine region of the divine Sagrantino di Montefalco to wineries that resemble architectural marvels.
Of course, there are also hidden automotive jewels, which we will marvel at in three places. At Todi near a venerable Abbazia, near Lago di Chiusi, a private collection of motorcycles and vintage cars, whose gates otherwise remain closed.
In Montefalco we find a wide collection of vehicles. As well as in our domicile, a private vintage car collection. The owner of the Roccafiore winery is a vintage car driver and has already taken part in many races.
Vintage car trip through Umbria - pit stop in the vineyard
Of course, the "must see" places are not forgotten during this Umbria holiday: Orvieto, Perugia, Spoleto and Todi, which we explore with our own guide. With this we are free of time and do not have to follow an umbrella or a newspaper in the tourist “horde”. If it suits, we'll have an ice cream in Amelia at the Gelateria Girotti, at the great-uncle of the film actor Terence Hill, whose real name is Mario Girotti and who grew up here.
On our day tours at lunchtime there is then a pit stop for a stop-off experience at the Pranzo at special panoramic places. No one will starve or die of thirst on our journey, we promise. And driving fun is also guaranteed.
Our domicile: Living in the vineyard, surrounded by olive trees and grapevines. A Resort & Spa overlooking Todi. The owner of this property is a classic car driver himself and a collector. In the evening we are spoiled with culinary delights on the wonderful terrace. With wines from our own cantina.
