NOVITEC refines the rear-wheel drive Taurus with fresh air and carbon
The new NOVITEC Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD tuning is intended for all those who want to visually refine their RWD bull. After that, it's even more enjoyable to drift on the racetrack with the Italian rear-wheel drive car. The tuner installed new components made of visible carbon and now also gives the bull a wing.
Less lift and more downforce with the EVO
The rear-wheel drive Huracán EVO is factory-equipped with a different bumper than the other models in this series. For this purpose, NOVITEC developed a new front spoiler made of visible carbon, which is attached to the lower part of the apron. An additional front wing is designed to reduce lift on the front axle at top speed.
Carbon front flaps were modeled to make the racing-style styling even more striking and to direct the airflow more specifically into the side air intakes of the front apron. Shafts on the hood of the new trunk lid generate additional downforce. Together with the front spoiler, this helps improve driving stability at high speeds.
Lots of visible carbon for the Huracan EVO RWD
Visible carbon side skirts not only make the mid-engine car look even lower. They also improve the cooling of the rear brakes through their integrated air intakes. The mirror covers and the air inlets on the rear side windows, which are pulled further forward, are also made from the same composite material. They optimize the fresh air supply to the engine compartment of the V10 engine.
An Italo bull can never get enough air
Aerodynamic fine-tuning is achieved through an improved supply of fresh air to the engine compartment. Here the customer can choose between a complete bonnet made of carbon fiber with larger inlets or the variant. For coupés that were ordered ex works with a glass bonnet, there are alternative air intakes on the left and right in an airbox design, which optimize the ventilation of the engine compartment.
NOVITEC gives the Huracan wings
The rear wing made of carbon is not only visually dominant, but also particularly efficient aerodynamically. Its sophisticated shape ensures that the downforce on the rear axle continues to increase at high speeds.
Rim upgrade for Huracan tuning
There is also a design rim upgrade for the Lamborghini RWD and extravagant wheels, for whose production the American specialist Vossen is responsible.
Due to the stylistic trick with the six filigree spokes, which end in a widely spread Y towards the outer edge of the rim, the wheels not only appear extremely large, they are also extremely large: in the combination with 20 and 21 inch diameters on the front and rear axles, they emphasize also the wedge shape of the Italian two-seater.
9Jx20 wheels with 245/30 ZR 20 high-performance tires are used on the front axle of the Huracan Evo RWD. The 12.5Jx21 rims on the rear axle with 325/25 ZR 21 tires provide the necessary traction.
New sport springs and a coilover kit for the Huracan
In order to make the handling of the Huracán with rear-wheel drive even sportier and more direct, the tuner donated sport springs that lower the Lamborghini by around 35 millimeters.
[dropcap size=big]35[/dropcap]For RWD owners who want to adjust the chassis even more individually to their personal requirements, there is an aluminum coilover sports chassis as an alternative. They also lower the Lamborghini by up to 35 millimeters.
No EVO engine tuning - there's a new exhaust for that
This time, the Huracan's 610 hp naturally aspirated V10 engine stays the course when it comes to engine tuning NOVITEC untouched. There is a new exhaust system for more performance. You can choose between stainless steel and the super-light INCONEL from Formula 1 for the Huracan EVO RWD tuning. A coating of 999 fine gold provides exclusivity and thermal insulation.
