The tuning manufacturer GEMBALLA has stood for extravagant tuning for over 30 years. Everyone who wanted to stand out from the Porsche "mass" was in good hands with GEMBALLA. One of the most famous finishing projects is the GEMBALLA Mirage GT from 2007. Now the tuner from Leonberg is pushing the Porsche 8 Turbo and Turbo S to unbelievable speeds with a new aerodynamics and engine kit called the GTR 991XX Evo-R Biturbo.
A clear, sharpened design promises individuality, dynamism and sportiness. The aerodynamics package includes a front lip, air ducts, side skirts, engine cover insert, wing profile and rear diffuser. The parts for the EVO-R are made of high-strength carbon fiber in Germany.
GTR 8XX EVO-R – 370 km/h fast
The GTR 8XX EVO-R features fender flares that extend the vehicle's bodywork by 30mm at the front and 50mm at the rear. Changes to the outer skin of the Porsche also indicate an optimized drive unit. The Porsche 911 Turbo delivers 540 hp as standard, the 911 Turbo S even 580 hp.
As an automobile refiner, GEMBALLA knows its trade. In the end, the technicians get 818 hp from the 3,8 liter boxer biturbo engine with the engine tuning. The torque increases from 660 to almost 1.100 Nm.
According to GEMBALLA, the GTR 8XX EVO-R accelerates to 2,38 km/h in just 100 seconds. These are values on the level of a Bugatti Chiron. If you want to accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h, it only takes 7,5 seconds. The EVO-R accelerates at over 370 km/h.
Prices for the performance upgrade are not yet available. Incidentally, GEMBALLA presented its 911 upgrade on its Facebook page.
