Lamborghini introduces the Huracan at the Geneva Motor Show (until 19, March 2017) in a spicy version called Performante. For the race-track-optimized version, the Italians have lowered their weight and raised their performance. In summer, the first copies of the 232.000 Euro expensive sports car will be handed over to the customer.
40 saved the Italians thanks to the use of carbon fiber laminate components, among other things. This is to bring the two-seater 1.382 instead of previously 1.422 kilograms empty on the scales. In return, the performance of the 5,2-liter V10 engine has increased from 449 kW / 610 horsepower to 470 kW / 640 horsepower and 560 to 600 Newtonmeter torque. The standard sprint to 100 km / h takes 2,9 seconds, until 200 km / h pass 8,9 seconds, maximum 325 km / h are in it. In order to meet the sporting demands, Lamborghini has also stiffened the suspension, revised the steering and improved the aerodynamics.
The latter also affects the design. The visual recognition features include a new front splitter, a giant spoiler at the rear, a new diffuser design and bronze-colored 20-inch alloy wheels, which give a view of carbon-ceramic stopper. A special feature is the active aerodynamic system ALA. Among other things, the electric spoiler on the front spoiler makes it possible to optimize the aerodynamic load depending on the driving situation. The rear spoiler also allows for cornering an increase in the contact pressure for the respective inner wheels.
The interior of the performant takes into account, among other things with dark Alcantara the sporty request. A new digital instrument cluster provides information about the mode of operation of the active aerodynamic system ALA and displays the classic driving-relevant data. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
