New Mercedes E-Class from 45.303,30 €
The entry into the impressive world of technology of the new E-Class is the E200. The 9-speed automatic is already used here. LTE not yet confirmed
The information from Mercedes-Benz on the hotspot technology offered in the E-Classes, always optional, does not yet provide an answer to the question of which radio standard is used. However, the fast LTE standard should be on board, anything else would be a disappointment.
AMG is moving away from the “One Man – One Engine” philosophy
Recently introduced with the C-Class, Mercedes-Benz is already saying goodbye to the “AMG Line” with the E-Class. The equipment and engine option introduced as a “low budget” AMG variant is now being replaced by AMG base models. The engine actually known as the 450 AMG Line is now an E43. Analogous to the new SLC 43, this was also presented in Detroit. However, with the AMG entry-level variant you also turn your back on another principle. Until now, the “One Man – One Engine” principle applied to AMG engines. However, this is over with the E43 and SLC 43 and then soon the C43 models. The 3 liter V6 turbo engines used are not made by hand at AMG. A tribute that must be paid to the success of the AMG variants.
