With the Mirai Concept Toyota gives a concrete look at the second generation of its fuel cell sedan at the Motor Show in Tokyo (23.10.-4.11.2019). The market launch is scheduled for next year. With the help of an optimized fuel cell system and larger hydrogen tank, Toyota is aiming for up to 30 percent higher range. For the current model it is over 500 kilometers.
Compared to the predecessor of the Mirai is longer, wider and flatter. The number of seats in the almost five-meter-long car increases from four to five. The wheelbase is 2,92 meters.
