The number of monthly environmental Bonus-Applications is now stable in the range of 50.000. But it wasn't enough for a new record in July.
In July are at Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) 51.351 applications for the e-car bonus received. Compared to the same month last year, this corresponds to an increase of 150 percent. However, the record high from March this year, when officials counted 51.928 applications, will be missed.
Environmental bonus so far for more purely electric vehicles
In July there were 25.223 applications for pure electric cars (plus 121 percent), and 26.124 for plug-in hybrids (plus 185 percent). Four buyers applied for money for a fuel cell vehicle. Since its introduction in summer 2016, 744.952 applications have been submitted, of which 411.874 for pure e-mobiles, 332.873 for plug-in hybrids and 205 for fuel cell cars.
