The Volvo subsidiary Polestar will have its first own in 2022 with the Polestar 3 __crossover__ present. The representatives of the Polestar brand have not yet been able to confirm the market entry in Europe in general and Germany in particular - what is known is that the Polestar will be manufactured in the USA (South Carolina) and that due to the layout there is also a strong focus on the __Increase__ of sales will be concentrated in North America. Like the Polestar 3, the Polestar 2 is based on the Volvo Group's SPA2 platform. This multifunctional platform allows for great scalability in the vehicles and their technological adaptations. 

The Crossover Polestar 3 will have a total length of well under 5 meters (around 4.80 meters (estimated)) and will be based on the size of the Volvo XC60. 

The Polestar 3 is offered as a crossover with an expanded focus __Sustainability__ designed. A high proportion of recyclable materials and the reuse of valuable materials in the second production cycle are therefore in the foreground. Typical for a Polestar, you won't have to suffer from a lack of performance. 

The basic version of the Polestar 3 will not come out as a waiver with a single electric motor with an output of around 230 hp and 350 Nm, upwards there is a possible 450 hp from two electric motors. 

A little shorter than the full-size SUV XC90, the Polestar 3 will still have a large and variable trunk, here the classic crossover and SUV genes are an advantage. the __Battery capacity__ of the Polestar 3, this is extended to over 100 kWh. The new Polestar 3 can thus qualify as a long-distance vehicle. 

As with the other Polestar models, Polestar will also use Google's Android Automotive System for the Polestar 3 to make the interface between man and car as intuitive as possible.  

For the first series models of the Polestar 3, they also want the technological basis for a further level of __Autonomy__ create. Polestar speaks of an ability to drive to level 4 and thus a further step towards autonomous driving. Until then, you can look forward to the premium attitude and the pleasantly fine interior of the Polestar models, as the Swedish brand has quickly established itself as a reliable vehicle manufacturer for cars with the Nordic __Lifestyle Chic__ established.
